Subject: curious -- rotating panel vs fixed at a major? I'm sure fixed is more consitent, either they like you or they don't so you have 1 chance in the first round...

rotating certainly adds some "fresh eyes" to each round, to each dancer.

So please chime in... opinions? Why do they (planning committees) switch rotating to fixed back to rotating at majors? Yes, understand each feis is a fixed panel, however with a rotating panel does it give more dancers more chances that may not be there otherwise? Is that a true reading? Its a subjective sport, so shouldn't there be more subjective judging -- hence more judges? Not sure where I'm going with this but wondering what folks think?

If you are a TC, please let me know your thoughts?
