Author: why we need rotating
Subject: Think about this for a minute. What dance does your TC stress more coming up to a major? Hard shoe. Why? Because they know that is the round the judges watch more. TC's put heavy emphasis on hard shoe more than the light shoe as a result. Have heard many TC's say, have to impress the judges with the hard shoe round.
In reply to: however (inside) 's message, "curious -- rotating panel vs fixed at a major? I'm sure fixed is more consitent, either they like you or they don't so you have 1 chance in the first round..." on 18:59:34 07/14/17 Fri

With rotating panels, then both rounds would be worked on equally and would be judged equally.
