Subject: I disagree. The first round is important to get noticed but if your second round is bad the judges aren't going to just ignore that. Rotating panels mess up the way Irish points are awarded. On a fixed panel you get Irish points after all three rounds. On rotating you get them for each round. More inside

I personally think you should have to be a well rounded dancer to do well, and the rotating system takes that away in favor of someone who has one or two really good rounds out of three.

The thing I dislike about fixed panel is how easy it is for judges to cheat. I like the option of dropping the high and low and keeping TCs from the same school off one panel.
