Subject: However, the other hardshoe is a set dance.Focus is for the first round because it's what the judges are watching. Many TC's really don't worry about the set as much because to get the recall, have to have a strong first round, soft shoe is always secondary, if even watched, esp. with a set panel. Rotating would eliminate that, ALL rounds on equal
In reply to: But I prefer rotating too 's message, "Not just because it's the first round. Champs are also 2/3 hardshoe, so they won't want to see your set if your hardshoe round isn't strong." on 10:37:29 07/17/17 Mon

  • Right now with non rotating panels, the first round is really worth more like 70% of the final mark with soft at 10% and set at 20%. You can't even pull yourself up with a great 2nd or 3rd round - you are out of the top 20 if you are not on fire for round 1. (NT) -- How it went, 18:13:39 07/19/17 Wed
  • A no name with bad draw for 1st round is affected in all 3 with fixed panel. (NT) -- Sad, 09:45:56 07/20/17 Thu
