Subject: I agree, mostly. We live 3 hours from the studio where teams practice is held. DD attends solo practice at a studio 2 hours away - only schools in area- 1-2x week if we can swing it. Teams practice on a school night. No way we could regularly get her there. Grateful for our understanding TC. DD would love to do teams though.

  • I am not sure what this means. Schools that don't have teams or solo dancers who aren't on teams are not "real" irish dancers? -- No name, 09:42:59 07/20/17 Thu
  • I do agree with the competitive problem. However, there are many schools where ceili is not taught at all, or only to champs if they're going to a major. (NT) -- 2/3, 19:37:23 07/20/17 Thu
