Subject: I can understand wanting to know well ahead of schedule. Its the same event every year. If NAIDC insists on running these events on major holidays, of course people are going to plan family vacations around it. Many jobs require requesting time off a year in advance - nurses, police, fireman, etc.
In reply to: how about it? 's message, "I cannot believe some of the complaints here. It's a competition. Great that you want to work your personal vacation in, but really? So, book afterwards. You have the main dates now. That gives you something to work with. Can't understand why the committee has to jump to provide. Look at the history" on 08:11:52 07/24/17 Mon

When I worked in a hospital, requests for the following summer were due on September 15. I know different regions run this event, but isn't it the same event every year? Don't they have a playbook for it by now?
