Author: ID judging is crazy!
Subject: My dancer was in the same situation. One judge just didn't like her (never has, since she moved from grades to PC then to OC). Her score was the dropped low score, so DD got a zero for that judge. Glad the ther judges liked DD!
In reply to: looking at marks now 's message, "My dancer got zero Irish points from one judge even though that judge marked her set above 50th spot. Why did she not get any Irish points from this one judge? We're the 3 rounds not marked separately." on 20:30:46 07/18/17 Tue

  • If one judge is frequently the "dropped' score, shouldn't he/she be reviewed/held accountable in some way?Even if it is subjective, if one adj is not in line with current standards and opinions, maybe a refresher course is necessary. Or, maybe a Major requires more energy/focus to fairly judge 100 dancers than some are able. (NT) -- .., 00:25:31 07/30/17 Sun
