Subject: There is no TC discretion to move a dancer from PC to OC. It gets done by dancers who are short a win by going to another region to dance in OC, but that's more of a loophole than anything else.
In reply to: more inside 's message, "First, please concern yourself about your own dancer would be the best advice. Second, the above post is not entirely correct. The MidAtlantic region AND the Western region both have 3 firsts in one calendar year as a requisite to move up to OC from PC; however," on 05:22:16 08/03/17 Thu

Secondly, OP, as you might be able to tell from comments, taking advantage of that loophole merely opens the dancer to eternal comment and criticism. I asked my dd about this, and she said she would have preferred staying in PC for life rather than "cheating" her way into OC. In other words, she felt her self respect as well as her reputation with other dancers meant more. In such a tight-knit world where dancers compete against each other over and over and over again for years, it makes no sense. Not to mention - if you can't make it out of PC the correct way, what is your likelihood of ever placing in OC? Is it really just the name only?
