Subject: But in the example cited, the TC didn't use discretion. The head of the region did.
In reply to: to give TCs latitude 's message, "However, the OP asked if a TC could do this and the answer is yes. There are TCs who do use their own discretion, too, whether you want to believe it or not, and there is no real rule against it, either. The rules are vague when it comes to this, it's all unwritten and no specifics for a reason." on 19:17:06 08/04/17 Fri

  • While TCs may do this, they are doing it against the rules. There is NO discretion exception in the rules, and the rule is very clear, no ambiguity. Dancers MUST qualify . . . (NT) -- .., 08:21:28 08/05/17 Sat
  • There is no explicit, stared rule against a teacher moving a dancer. The stated rule applies to the dancer. It is understood a teacher has leeway to place any dancer appropriately. There is no sanction or rule that says a teacher can't. Only what you read into it (NT) -- For yerselves, 09:10:16 08/05/17 Sat
