Not a huge deal.

Your dancer needs to learn to go with the music, not the other way around.

So frequently when novice parents complained bitterly and noisily even here on these boards or to their TC's or make it such a big issue about things we lose some of the things that other dancers have fought for over the years. It would be a shame to lose our live musicians Attitash just because some nitpicky Mommy thinks they know best.

Using live musicians is an element that is traditional and Irish dancing. And we've seen so many Traditions leave. Let's not lose this one.

In the end if you want your dancer to be successful at the higher levels, your dancer really needs to learn how to go with the music. Sorry if that's harsh and I'm so sorry it's novice level, but let's be real about this. Even a novice level dancer should be able to follow the music. Unless you're dancer is not cut out for Irish dancing.
