Subject: Sorry -- missed a word. Completely different speed.
In reply to: This is similar. 's message, "Obviously it's 2 different people. As a new poster, there is a big difference between playing slightly fast or slow (which dancers should be able to adjust to) and setting your metronome for a completely different. OC dancers often do traditional sets at a very slow speed. It would be physically impossible to execute them at traditional speed." on 06:32:08 08/08/17 Tue

  • Unless the AD (panel) says something, then there is no issue. It's on the AD to comment. It's similar to when Add write "nice reel" for a slip jig. Musicians are human. Have had a very well respected one end playing 8 bars short on dancer. Dancer continued. Have had another play incorrect speed, although told and written down. Dancer worked it. -- No the end of the world, 06:48:26 08/08/17 Tue
  • My dancers have also made it work when music played at wrong speed (stories inside), but judges don't always recognize it. IMHO, it is good for parents and dancers to know an appropriate and polite way to deal with the situation. (NT) -- More inside, 08:01:26 08/08/17 Tue
