Subject: As was posted above to another TC- what, if anything, should be done at a feis if it is the wrong speed and the AD is not correcting (and your TC is not at the feis)? Should you just let it go?
In reply to: Musical TC 's message, "From the IDTANA handbook - speeds that were voted on in 2016 are posted inside. As a TC I always teach my kids to dance in time to whatever they get played BUT if we have rules then the musicians should play the speeds they are supposed to (or close to it)." on 09:20:06 08/09/17 Wed

  • AND there are rules about TCs coaching during competitions and that occurs, even at qualifiers; yet nothing done. You, a TC, commenting on a board? Kind of laughable, why don't YOU step up to CLRG or IDTANA -- To enforce?, 19:51:25 08/09/17 Wed
  • I am a TC as well and post occasionally. Many of us do, whether we sign with our names, the letters TC, or remain 100% anonymous. I don't know why that's so hard for you to believe. And IMO, correct music is MORE important in grades than champs as these -- ., 05:49:27 08/10/17 Thu
