Subject: Not all schools allow this but many do, particularly in college towns. It can work a couple of different ways.

At our school our TC will reach out to a TC in the college town to arrange for her dancer to practice at that TC's school. In other schools it's up to the college dancer to locate and approach a TC near college about practicing with them. The college town TC does not change your steps. They might give you some corrections but you're not their dancer, not doing their steps, so their focus will not be on you.

  • Can't speak for all schools, but we've had a couple of college dancers come and take class with us when they were in term. The TCs knew and the dancers did their own steps. Everything worked out really well (NT) -- .., 16:29:26 08/23/17 Wed
