Subject: There are also those dancers who will "share" directions of steps with whomever is in same rotation, and then deliberately go in a different pattern, oftentimes directly into or in front of one of the others at a critical point. Really scary to be so calculating and deliberate.

a dancer from a school that may have multiple dancers in a comp who is slated to go against a known dancer deliberately go into the known dancer or cut in front or even trip up the known dancer in order to 'take the dancer out' Sad, but true, some TCs will tell a dancer to do this in order to promote some of the other dancers from the school in placements.
