Subject: Our TC’s have only moved up older dancers who started dancing late—as in O13 and up. There are never enough dancers to follow the rules in those age groups. It's likely they would be stuck in Beginner 2/Novice FOREVER.
In reply to: Interesting 's message, "So, TCs do move dancers without the required placements or appropriate numbers as per rules, then. It is allowed and accepted, in spite of some of the above posts." on 06:28:28 08/27/17 Sun

Replies:

  • I didn't read any posts saying that moving up in grades without placements is against the rules, only that moving into OC from PC without the required firsts is against the rules. Is there a written rule about grades advancement? (NT) -- Just saying, 09:32:32 08/27/17 Sun
  • I've looked through the rules on a couple occasions and never found the hard and fast rule. Either I'm overlooking it or it isn't there. (NT) -- Sometimes this sport is silly, 11:44:03 08/27/17 Sun
