Author: Depends on the dancer
Subject: I have always done jig sets as I am better at jigs regardless of the year. I was usually one of the last qualifiers, so made no sense to do a dance I'm worse at to practice for worlds where I had a slim chance of a recalling.

  • If your teacher has entered her with a hornpipe set, please trust their judgement. (NT) -- m, 03:12:30 08/31/17 Thu
  • It's not that I don't trust their judgement. I am just trying to figure out why MY dancer doesn't have success with set. As someone said above, it might be stamina, it might be rhythm or timing issues, but when those things are not the issue does the chosen set dance play a part in how a judge scores the dancer.
