Subject: I was curious about this as well, because in the video the dancer hops to the side but still does the drums in the opposite direction. Is this incorrect? Older dancer here learning the set to help some of the younger girls dancing at oireachtas, is there a place where this version of the set is written down with the official CLRG step rules?
In reply to: tc 's message, "Please note that in trad sets, heel drums should be done in the same direction as the leading foot - ie right foot drumming, travel to the right or stay on the spot. In modern dancing we go in the other direction as the demo is showing, but this is incorrect for a trad set." on 03:53:36 08/23/17 Wed
