Subject: Is she still attending classes? If not, and she is physically able to move (i.e., she is on crutches or hopping around), make her go.
In reply to: concerned mom 's message, "My DD has been injured for several weeks. Being unable to dance has her feeling depressed and uninterested. Seems almost unmotivated to get better. She has several weeks before she can get back on the dance floor. Anyone have experience with this, and if so, how can I help her?" on 08:59:18 09/18/17 Mon

At our school, even if injured, if you can physically attend class, you must attend. That may help her feel "in the swing" and motivate her. Are her dance friends in touch? Maybe they can help by keeping her in the loop. If the problem is that she doesn't want to do rehab, then you might need top step in an make her do it - nobody likes being the bad guy, but failure to rehab may have lifetime implications having nothing to do with dance - and that's an issue that you as a parent have a strong investment in making certain works out well for your child.
If the problem is not that she doesn't want to rehab but simply doesn't want to dance, then you may need to sit back and see if this is a permanent thing or she just is taking a mental break. She might be done, or she might be raring to go in a week or two.
