In reply to: concerned mom 's message, "My DD has been injured for several weeks. Being unable to dance has her feeling depressed and uninterested. Seems almost unmotivated to get better. She has several weeks before she can get back on the dance floor. Anyone have experience with this, and if so, how can I help her?" on 08:59:18 09/18/17 Mon

you may want to investigate anther type of activity to help keep endurance/stamina up. My dancer had a foot injury a few months back, but was able to do treadmill, elyptical, spinning, some yoga, and weights, as well as swimming. She also, worked with a trainer that helps athletes thru injuries! We got on a regular gym schedule and that helped her immeasurably, mentally and physically!
