Author: you dismissed the boys
Subject: How about you speak up or take a stand with your teachers about your dancer having to "doll up" There is no rule that requires any dancer to "doll up" and if a TC forces a dancer to do that, maybe rethink being a part of the school, because that is blatant sexualization and incredibly wrong.
In reply to: Wowza! 's message, "Sexist? 98% of the older dancers are FEMALE & their teachers expect them to "doll up" for competition. If you want to accuse people of being sexist, take it up with the teachers who drive this! If there is an issue with boys having "no time" between rounds, that's an issue, but you need to speak up at the feis when you see it happening." on 13:04:35 07/26/21 Mon

that IS being sexist, regardless of how many participate, or not.

AND you missed the point. Nowhere is it written that a dancer MUST wear a wig or even makeup and that should not be a concern of a feis in scheduling comps.
