In reply to: Thanks for your help! 's message, "Best marley floor covering? What is the absolute best brand and type of marley covering? Need for long term and permanent use." on 07:05:21 08/11/21 Wed

We used shower pan liner. We bought a roll from Home Depot. It is way cheaper than marley. Our dance school uses it too, and it is holding up beautifully with classes on it 4-5 days per week (replacing the marley was getting expensive for them, and the pan liner was recommended by another school). So, we put in in our home studio as well. Once we put the liner down, we put a line of duct tape on the seam. Finally, we used wrestling mat tape over that. On the edge of the floor, we just put a metal strip to hold it down, brightly colored, to mark the edge of the floor for our dancer to see. Whether hard or soft shoe, our champ daughter loves it. No slipping, tripping, or anything.
