Practice time at home may all depend upon how much time he/she is in class. A person can practice for hours a day, but without the classes to "correct" issues, it doesn't mean a thing. I would be so excited if my child practiced that long every day. But there are times life gets in the way. As far as stretches, please reach out to the teacher, or better yet, have your child reach out. The teacher may have a certain stretch they prefer, or may send you to someone specific to work on it.

Be proud of your child, and on those days when they don't practice as much, really, it is ok.

I might be talking as a mom of an open whose child just left for school and I know how quickly this time flies!

  • Quality vs Quantity. you can practice for hours and hours, but if its not a productive practice than what's the point (NT) -- seasoned vet, 15:00:43 08/27/21 Fri
