In reply to: LOL! 's message, "We claim to practice an hour a day, reality we twiddle with our toes, admire our hair in the mirror, search our playlist for the right song, text some friends, and then practice for the remaining 10 minutes" on 07:29:26 09/03/21 Fri

I've had Mom's tell me, in great earnest that their daughter "practices an HOUR every day, and they don't understand WHY they aren't moving up at the Feis". A Few years later, when a teen, the daughter rolled her eyes and told me, "I NEVER praticed at home... NEVER!". haha.

I know some kids do practice... (My kid practiced a few times a week(basically because I MADE her, if she wanted me to pay for classes, feises, etc), but the description above was pretty acurate...). There was a lot of "making up steps" when she was suppose to be working on her Hard Jig technique.. haha. Maybe she will be a great choreographer some day... OR... maybe not.. LOL.
