Subject: Except that the TCRG exam completely replicates some of the material tested in the grades. This is either a ploy to limit new TCs or to pull in the big bucks from overpriced grade exams.

People act like becoming a TCRG is some big Medal of Honor. It’s an antiquated memorization test made even more redundant by the requirement of grade exams.

You don’t have to know a thing about properly warming up a dancer, basic first aid, injury prevention and stretching, or business operations and communication, but you have to answer irrelevant brain teaser questions about ceilis…

It’s a farce of an exam at best yet we deify those who get it like they’ve passed the bar or something. The TCRG exam only proves you’re good with flash cards and can teach a couple steps to someone.
