I'm gone for 2 weeks and I come back here reading crazy moronic posts! Who's the idiot that thinks he/she is so cute? Now let's get down to serious talk!
First, I don't blame you for being angry Doris; but don't let it get you down. Whoever is the comedian will get his/hers later on.
Second, I can't believe in this day and age that some people are so ignorant and have to post such nasty messages about AIDS. Come on, people are dying EVERY DAY from this disease, and it's very cruel and rude to say that Peggy's friend "asked for it". Would you post a nasty message if the person who died from AIDS was a young child who got AIDS because of a blood transfusion? I think not.
Third--politics. I hope that Barack Obama wins the presidential election. At least he wants to bring our beloved troops home. Romney and McCain want to keep them there in Permanent Military bases for years. We all know that Bush's invasion of Iraq was THE MOST STUPID and GREEDY decision ever made by a president. It's all about the OIL, folks, and who wants another business man in the White House, making sure all his CEO buddies get their cut from the war profits.
Fourth--Illegal Immigration. Here we go again with the "they come to take our jobs, they are costing us a fortune to educate their children, they are bringing crime everywhere they go..."
First of all, blame those corporations that are moving overseas, and who are hiring illegal workers for less pay and no benefits so the corporations can turn out major Profits for their CEOs. Second, these people are coming here to work jobs most Americans refuse to do--do you know any butchers, any dishwashers, any migrant farm workers--in your neighborhood or in your family? Probably not, because those jobs are "beneath" most US citizens.
Next, about educating the illegal children. Would you rather these children be in school getting an education or be out of school, on the streets, learning to work for drug dealers, thieves, or pimps?
Next, the illegal immigrants I know usually don't want to make any kind of trouble. They hide out and keep quiet, not wanting to be deported or to be taken away from their families, so this nonsense about them being robbers, crooks and thieves is basically wrong. Sure, there are a few "bad apples" among them, but that's like any society in any country on earth.
Next, Remember that since abortion was made legal we have lost 50 MILLION potential citizens that would be working now, paying taxes and contributing to the government by having their wages taxed for Medicare and Social Security. Imagine if there were 50 million less workers--how would our society be like? People over 65 would be asked to "check out" and leave because there would be so little Medicare and Social Security funds available for their retirement. Right now there are approx. 12 million illegal workers in the US of A who are making sure your government keeps going, so don't complain about them--they are the ones who are paying to make sure you get your Medicare and your Social Security checks in the mail each month.
So, remember all these things about Illegal Immigrants when you eat your dinner and when you watch them mow your lawns, that without them being here, this country would really be up a creek without a paddle.
*I just hope that the idiot who is posting these nasty notes takes time to think that what he/she is doing is only going to come back to bite him/her in the backside. It's not worth it to either post or read cruel and nasty messages--so knock it off!
