Subject: Wrecked Goliath 1100 Sedan

Hi,

While gathering stones for a wall I'm building near New Paltz, NY, I happened upon an abandoned car upside down next to a field. I found it interesting because it had an horizontally opposed 4 cyl aluminum engine, an aluminum transmission, and front wheel drive. I had to move a dead tree off of the grill to see what make it was. l wasn't aware such a vehicle existed, so I did an internet search and landed here.

It seems to be a ~1957 Goliath 1100 Sedan. If anyone here is interested, I took some pictures. It's in VERY rough condition; don't think anyone would want to restore it, but it might have some good parts. Let me know and I could hook you up.
