If this does turn out to be the case, then as an alum, I will be withdrawing my financial support to the college for the forseeable future. I guess they really don't need the money if they won't dedicate the same resources to the women's side as they would the men's.

I have been sitting back watching this unfold and does it really surprise you with the outcome?
This is HC we are talking about! They constantly put themselves in a box when it comes to athletics and they think everybody will want them based on their terms. HA, that's very funny.
I have voiced my disapproval for the PL since it's inception. Both it and the philosophy it represents have put HC on an island. Boy to be shunned by the Ivies! that's hard to swallow.
As fans, you have got to realize what we are supporting here. We on this board put forth more information and college facts than HC and it's web site do. That's sad!
HC wants to run it programs in 2004 with the same resources it did 30 years ago. When a school like Quinnipiac passes you out, HC has hit ROCK BOTTOM!!
Again, if I were an alum, the checks would have stopped a long time ago. HC's administration is NOT committed to D1 athletics period.
