My sources tell me that HC will probably NOT receive the invitation from the ECAC...I normally operate under a different moniker, but I can assure you that this comes from a source close to the fray...none of you will believe the reasoning behind the decision...I still can't believe it myself...but to protect my source, I will have to wait for the announcement to reveal the info I have...

It looks as if the decision has been made - but I have no information of what it is. I do know that it is definitely between Quinnipiac and HC. Niagra just issued a press release which says they have not been chosen (similar to Merceyhurst's). I would guess that the winner knows, but has been told not to say anything. I would expect an official announcement tomorrow.

If it is announced tomorrow, the news will be everywhere except on HC's website !

First come the emails....then in about a month, a press release....with some quotes attributed to Pearl Bailey as opposed to Paul Pearl.
