When I was at the Cross, Ron was still there but no longer playing. The rumors were that Donohue had somehow screwed him and that screwing set our recruiting efforts in the minority community back for a decade. I have no first hand knowledge of this but that was the story and there were very few black ball players after Ron for a long time (Stan Grayson being an obvious exception). Anybody else recall this spin on the situation?
