Noted the following posting on the HC jobs postings. Evidence of the commitment to ECAC to upgrade women's hockey I would assume.
ASSISTANT COACH WOMEN'S
ICE HOCKEY (PART-TIME)
Assist head coach in on ice practice, recruiting and home game management. Must be committed to academic success of student athletes and compliance of NCAA rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree, experience coaching college ice hockey and working with student athletes.
This is a no brainer and clear as the driven snow. HC will be invited to join the ECAC and will do so. They will only add one team. It is the obvious choice. No one wants to travel to Niagara or Mercyhurst. Sacred Heart and Quinn don't fit. The next opening will be when Union drops out, which eventually they will. It will be interesting to play HC even though it will detract from your BB asperations. However, you can't have it both ways.

Gate Raider-- We always (well, just about always) appreciate your contributions to this board. Forget sader1970's calling you to task for "aspirations"; we'll consider it a typo. The clear error, however, is the use of "clear as the driven snow". The customary "driven snow" metaphor is "Pure" as the driven snow, inapplicable here. You might have selected "clear as glass" or "as surely as night follows day" to point out the certainty of the event. We hope you are correct. As the graduate of an elite PL school, you'll no doubt welcome this help.....
Hey, easy on Gate Raider there HC fans. I always chalked poor spelling up as a sign of genius! Only the ones that are trying to look smart care about the grammar part ;-).
