Your assertion that the ivy league baseball is much more competitive than PL baseball is not accurate. As I posted before, the PL was 8-5 vs. the ivies this year. Second, although it is not an official RPI - this is a pretty good site. http://www.boydsworld.com/baseball/rpi/rpi601.html

According to the RPI formula that the site uses, here are the latest rankings:

PL (avg. rank 201.6)
Army - 107
Lehigh - 178
Lafayette - 211
HC - 218
Bucknell - 223
Navy - 273

Ivy (avg. rank 197.8)
Princeton - 126
Dartmouth (HC beat them)-163
Harvard (HC split 2 games)-164
Yale (HC lost) - 175
Columbia - 214
Brown - 217
Cornell - 242
Penn - 282

As you can see, these leagues are pretty even with a slight edge to the ivies. MUCH more competitive is a gross overstatement.
