It would in my mind. Although joining the ECAC in hockey is not the same as moving into the PL. The ECAC is a top hockey conference that happens to be composed of first-rate schools. The PL is a low major composed of first-rate schools. But if they screw us it would be a huge slap in the face to our great school, pariticularly given the other ECAC applicants we're up against.

Certainly, of the schools that the ECAC is considering, HC would be the best choice. I just don't see Quinippiac, Niagara, etc. as being on the same level. In fact, I am not so sure of Union, St. Lawrence or Clarkson. Well, Union at least. Now there is some controversy.
