Holy Cross has submitted an application. That's Step 1. What more are they supposed to be doing?
Yet from reading this string of posts, it seems some won't be happy unless Step 2 is a public statement that Holy Cross won't be happy until it leaves the inferior Atlantic Hockey Conference for the much superior ECAC....the application speaks for itself; publicly harping about just how much you want to leave your present situation doesn't reflect well on anyone esp. with respect to the AHC which I think has been a good fit for HC these past few years.
My concern is the "which direction" comment. IMHO, that seems to say, "take us as we are, because we're the best academicly. But don't expect us to make any concessions like adding scholarships or upgrading our facilities." And that attitude that got us where we are now. Given that type of application, I don't think we'll make the final cut.
