i think you were responding to someone else, but i actually don't dislike john thompson iii. not yet at least. he ran a clean, respectable program at princeton. i always found it interesting that he was basically the polar opposite of his racist, recruit-a-thug father.
however, i think him taking this job sucks as i find it hard to believe he will carry on his formerly high standards with his abomination of a dad seeing things over.
everyone's entitled to their own opinions and i don't think you're stupid or a moron. but anyone who thinks thompson didn't play a role in this obvious move and even moreso those who believe the claim that georgetown recruits "ivy-league academics" in it's basketball players would have to qualify as such. seriously, who are they trying to kid with that?!? did thebin write that press-release?
