So far, these teams are on our '04-'05 schedule: Providence, Union, Merrimack and RPI. The rest is not up yet but we have really upgraded our program by scheduling top hockey schools.
that's right, and the providence appearance is actually a 4 team tourney (thanksgiving or christmas time) with other big-time schools.
they have never done it before but i hope the sid's office puts up the recruits for next year and treats them like the football and basketball recruits. i understand they have 8 players coming in, including 3 canadians. with the excellent goaltending returning, we should be very strong again next year.
Friend, what's with the invective about Matanuck? How did you come to insert "pole smoker" amd "jerk" into this straightforward string about our team's hockey schedule? Lighten up a little.
In commenting on Holy Cross athletics over the past year at the HC New Jersey Club reception Tuesday evening, Fr. McFarland heaped well deserved praise upon Coach Pearl and the hockey team's members. He was asked about joining the ECAC. Although he did not give an answer that would reveal the status of joining, he did say it would be a great thing for Holy Cross to be playing in a league with the caliber of teams in the ECAC.
Boy, you must have scored pretty low on your reading comprehension tests. You see, the statement below doesn't exclude teams we played this past season. It's implicit, assuming you know the meaning of the word.
