I know the game was a few days ago but this is the first time i've been on the board since...
I was at the spring game and notice a little bit of a different look in the secondary. It was weird not seeing john carr or ben koller back there. Marc Crosby seemed like he played well. Kevin Dunn had a solid game. Nick Tenekedes also played well. The only problem i see with the safeties is their size. Dunn is not going to be your run support guy and Crosby seemed a bit short. I did not get a chance to see Verdugo, I think he might be injured. I remember Verdugo having good size and height and he logged a good amount of time on STs so when he gets healthy he should be a solid addition to solidify the secondary and be more of your run support type of guy. Hopefully Verdugo gets healthy for summer camp. We all know that the secondary needed some work and I'm sure they will come out for Duquesne ready to go
The spring roster has Crosby listed as a RB. Position change? I seem to recall that Mark Balestracci played a good deal of DB last year before he was hurt, as did Darran Davis. Did they play at all?
(As an aside, if you compare the 2004 spring roster to the 2003 fall roster, you'll see that many of the players got shorter and lighter.)
