Worcester Academy baseball standout is two year captain, John Glowik III.

Another recruit for Coach Najarian is Brendan Akashian, a 6'1, 185 lbs. cathcher out of Lowell High School. Last summer, Brendan led the lowell legion team to the state championship game batting well over .400. He is the cleanup hitter for LHS this year and again is hovering around .400. Brendan is also great defensively and should be a four year player for the Crusaders. Brendan was recruited by most of the Ivies and several Big East Schools. I think the fact that his brother Brian is an assistant coach with the hockey team was a big draw.
