As a result of the 2004 football Prospectus posted on the Patroit League website, the spring roster for the HC football team is available.
The good news is that, based solely on my own perspective of the team, every underclassman who was a signficant contributor to last year's team is on the roster. The underclassmen who were on the roster last year but are not there for 2004 did not play to any extent last year (as far as I know, and with the possible exception of one offensive lineman).
Bad news: Pat Sullivan, who started on the defensive line for 2 years before being seriously injured in the Lehigh game last year, is not on the roster. I presume that means the injury will not allow him to play this year.
Good news: Luke Dugan, who was projected as the starting quarterback last year before a pre-season injury, is back on the roster.
I'm looking forward to the HC spring prospectus being posted on the web site (it is usually available around the time of the spring game). I'm also hoping that posters who may have some information regarding spring practice or who will attend the spring game will post reports.
Looking forward to the 2004 season. I predict HC will be better than many are expecting.
