Could you explain why you want to join the ECAC? Seems that your chances of reaching the NCAA would be better served by staying where you are. Also, do you know when a decision will be made?
supposedly by June 1 - because I believe Holy Cross should compete against the best competition possible in a league that maintains its academic integrity -- sure we could stay in a lesser league, get a low seed and try for an occasional first-round upset -- but I actually believe hockey is a sport HC can compete in on a national level and do quite well recruiting wise in New England -- can't say that -- compete on national level that is -- about basketball for the most part -- I have long been a hockey fan and have followed ecac teams (including your alma mater) since i was little -- I really have no interest in any of the Atlantic Hockey schools and would much rather see Holy Cross build a solid, first-rate hockey program than play in a second-tier league that the local area residents don't really care about
