I think as I have said many times before, you have got to invest in the sports that are revenue generating if you want to continue supporting sports like tennis and lacross.
HC is a very small school and to support as many sports as they do w/o a major sport producing a tremendous amount of revenue is not smart business. Look at schools like St. Joes and Gonzaga, do they support as many sports as we do?
You have got to make a serious investment and decide which sports you want to succeed? I would say mens and womens BB and hockey would be my choice. Both are D1 and could make the jump into a major conference and generate $$. You can't continue to run all the programs on band-aids and toothpicks, something has got to give.
The PL (although some see it as an academic super-power, is a dog for HC athletically)When will they realize that? Until the administration gets it's act together and decides to get serious in the arena of D1 athletics, things will never improve, otherwise go to D3 and stop the deception.
