Anything's possible. Pearl's just gotta make sure the guys aren't scared of UND. I didn't see the Maine, UMass, or Dartmouth losses this year (7-0, 2-1, and 2-1, respectively), but I have seen Dartmouth play in person. For HC to keep it close against the Green, they must have played very well. Same with UMass, who lost a triple OT thriller to Maine over the weekend.
Can HC compete? Yes...ESPECIALLY on neutral ice. If the top seeds hosted games, then the chances of an upset would be close to nil. Still, the more I think about it, the chances does exist.
Kudos in order for Coach Pearl and his game Crusaders!! A great opportunity exists for this team to go down in history by upsetting North Dakota. Play with the poise and confidence exhibited in the recent AHL tourney, and good things will happen for these Crusaders. Many of us would have loved drawing BC in New Hampshire, but we will have to wait and play them later in the tournament. Good luck and the spirit of thousands of Holy Cross fans will be with you!!
