Now that I'm 50, I no longer feel compelled to do it weekly, the way my mother taught me.
I've taught my daughters that it's part of pampering yourself, and it's something you should do when, and only when you enjoy doing it.
That's the standard I use.
I still do it, I want to say every 6 or 7 weeks.
I haven't asked either of them in a couple of years when was the last time they did it. They both have the equipment, and the knowledge. It's up to every individual.
