Susan L

You got off to a good start, However you got things rolling
and should have taken a sea salt and baking soda follow up enema to move the rest out, Soap suds enemas are iritating
and really upset the colon and tend to keep things moving.
Better luck next time.
Diane

Diane is probably right. SSEs iritate your insides, and without a warm water (or sea salt-baking soda) rinse, you colon may continue in spasms. Even when I'm insanely plugged up and need a stronger enema, I still go pretty light on the soap. A year or so ago I began using Conti Castile, a bar soap that also contains olive oil. Works well for me, very comfortable. However, it's a good idea to take a second enema with a soda mix. You may not always feel like doing it, but it is soothing to your insides.
