Baking soda does help with pH as does Ivory soap enemas. Unfortunately most people who take soapsuds enemas always take rinses after. Taking rinses just undoes the good that the higher pH Ivory soapsuds enemas do.

Winafred, doesn't taking an Ivory soap enema without following with a rinse with clear water cause irritation to the colon or possible damage it over time?
