I have posted the experience below about some months ago.Still looking forward in finding out other similar experiences to mine one.Here is the original post:
I know this is the board for enema discussions but i just wanted to share to you a kind of a embarrasing experience i had when i was 19(am 21 now).I was coming from school one day and was feeling sick and home was only grandma(she is a retired nurse by the way).She felt my forehead and said that she must take my temperature.She told me to wait whil she goes for the thermometer.I said okay, knowing that will be an oral thermometer.But when she returned i was suprised seeing the kind of thermometer she has in her hand.She told me that it is a rectal thermometer ! I turned immediately all red.I protested but she said that it is better reading that the oral one.She also has some vaseline ready and she asked me to lie face down on the bed and to expose my bottom.I did and she sat next to me and she said that i have a very cute bottom.I was embarrased seeing me in that way.I remember that before inserting the thermometer in me she opened my bottom cheeks quite wide and looked at my bottom hole.I found that strange.I could feel her breath on my opened bottom.After she inspected my bottom hole she took my temperature.

Just ignore those who get off on insulting others. What do you make of what happened? Are you suggesting there was some sexual interest involved on the part of your grandmother? Has she taken your temp rectally before, or done any other rectal or invasive procedures? Has she made any inappropriate (sexual) remarks to you before or since? If this was a one time thing, perhaps she was just checking to make sure you didn't have any fissures or hemorrhoids or other abnormality before inserting the thermometer. After all, she is a nurse and perhaps inspecting the area is part of her temperature-taking routine.

That was a very rude remark you made in the above message Carol. My daughter, your mother, did not teach you to make snide and rude remarks to seniors, like myself. I truly believe you owe me, your loving grandmother, an apology.
To answer you,this was the 1st time she took my temperature and as i said,it was done in my behind.I protested because i didn't want her see me that way especially since i was 19(not a little girl anymore)! She hasn't done/told any sexual remarks to me before;it was just at this time when i presented my bare bottom to her.I was quite embarrased about the whole thing especially when she inspected my bottom hole.I think that was the reson of her inspection because she told me right away:"Everything is okay back here" and after she took my temperature.
Thank you for your response. It sounds like, while it was embarrassing for you, the whole things was most likely innocent and innocuous on your grandmother's part. Often times non-medical people read sexuality into situations that are non-sexual, even mundane to medical people. How do you feel about rectal temps now?

How do i feel anout rectal temps now ? Well,just as before.I don't know but how would you have felt if another sibbling of yours(older,of course)would have checked your intimate parts and you being 19-20(an adult)?Moreover,making a remark about your bottom ?
It sounds like you were offended by my comment and question about your feelings. If so, I apologize. Turning it around and asking how I would feel is not helpful because everyone reacts and feels differently about things. My comment about medical and non-medical people viewing situations in different lights refers to the fact that medical people deal with nudity, examinations, and procedures on intimate areas without getting turned on or viewing such situations as sexual. Again, sorry if I offended you.

Susan, you will find that Carol, does not have both oars in the water, and that can be a problem for her, on a public discussion forum.
Just be gentle with your daughter, when you give her the necessary enemas. She will be grateful, and will probably learn the vlue of a good enema, to her long-term health.

Yes I am very gentle when giveing her an enema and we make a game of it like How long can she hold it in, I ask her one time are you ready for a bigger nozzle, so it's safe to say she she don't dregd a enema--!!

Linda, I agree with you about making it a game. My children and I bond with the enema experience. I treat one at a time patiently and they have told me how wonderful they feel afterward. I am so good at giving them, truly they experience little discomfort because I take my time. even my 8 year old can take 3 quarts after a couple of bulb enema starts. I use enemas as prevention and I can't remember when they had even a cold. All 3 are enema-ed once a week, different days. No doctors, just a lot of colorful enema equipment. I think the colors make it fun too.
