Yes I am very gentle when giveing her an enema and we make a game of it like How long can she hold it in, I ask her one time are you ready for a bigger nozzle, so it's safe to say she she don't dregd a enema--!!

Linda, I agree with you about making it a game. My children and I bond with the enema experience. I treat one at a time patiently and they have told me how wonderful they feel afterward. I am so good at giving them, truly they experience little discomfort because I take my time. even my 8 year old can take 3 quarts after a couple of bulb enema starts. I use enemas as prevention and I can't remember when they had even a cold. All 3 are enema-ed once a week, different days. No doctors, just a lot of colorful enema equipment. I think the colors make it fun too.
