Subject: Enema for grand kids

My grand kids are staying with me for a few weeks while their parents are on a trip. Today my grandaughter, 11 complained she had a tummy ache and couldn't go to the bathroom. I asked her what her mom did for her in that case.

She sheepishly said that her mom would give her an enema.
I asked her if she wanted me to give her an enema, and she said ,"I guess".
So I took her into the bathroom I told her to get undressed as made up an enema for her. I put her over my lap for the first enema. Then she told me her mom would give her an enema on her back, which I did.
I went into the kitchen and let her finish on the toilet.
I was starting to make dinner and my grandson was in the kitchen when his sister came into the kitchen prouncing that she didn't have a tummy ache af I gave her an enema and felt a whle lot better.

AS I was getting things for dinner, I was surprised when my grand son who is 13 said, he didn't feel very good and had some cramps. He hadn't mentioned it before until his sister announced the enema I had just given her.

So, I told him that maybe I should give him an enema too. He was quick to agree with me, and I told him to go into thee bathroom and get undressed and I would give him an enema right after I put something in the oven.

When I went into the bathroom he was undressed sitting on the edge of the tub, and his sister was talking to him from the bathroom door about the enema. I fixed up his enema and asked how he wanted me to give him the enema. He said he wanted it like I gave his sister, over my lap. My grandaughter asked if she could watch me give her brother an enema, as her mom did. I asked my grandson if he didn't mind, and he said that he didn't, because his mom often gave them enemas together. So I put him over my lap and gave him a good soapsuds enema, followed by a tap water rinse. After the enema, he thanked me and said he felt better.

Now, I think my grand kids enjoy their enemas, as both of them brought up the subject, and were quick to get into the bathroom and undress for the enemas. I don't really think that my grandson needed an enema, but rather wanted me to give him one. Since I'm going to have them with me for several weeks, I anticipate their asking me to give them some more enemas. I don't mind giving them enemas, but question if I am just a patsy for their wishes. I don't think my grand daughter is so much that way, but think my grandson enjoys his enemas a lot more.
When I was visiting my daugher one time, my grandson did come to his mom and said he thought he needed an enema, to which my daughter administered within 5 miuntes.

I might also play a little game with my grandkids. I might just mention to one or both of them that I think she or he needss an enema, and see just how abliging they are. Any ideas.

Methinks you,Pat, (AKA Grandma) are playing a little game with this forum and we don't appreciate it. Maybe you can find another forum to practice your literary skills....your very good at making up stories, and perhaps you could become another Shakespeare.

I think Grandma could be another Stephen King. You know, the horror story author.

"I" think Grandma's report is quite possibly true. Many more Moms give many more children many more enemas than any of us account for, in our old age.

Remember, enema therapy is at least 4,000 years old, and 'beats the daylights out of' the incredible number of dangerous medicines prescribed by the medicos, today.

We all know, right, that the SINGLE BIGGEST CAUSE OF DEATH 'is' the practice of medicine ?

Why subject a child to the vagaries of ORGANIZED medicine if a simple pH-restoring enema might help him/her stay well ?

I thought this forum was about enemas, to which the first posting by Grandma conformed to. I thought it was an appropriate posting. I didn't think it was a forum for people to criticize others, which was not appropriate.

I am a gramma too, and I do give my grand kids an enema when they need it. My daughter can't always do it because of her busy schedule. She asks me to give her kids an enema
shen she can't, and I have no problem with doing so, nor do the kids.

The original story is probably fiction.
I see nothing wrong with a grandmother giving an enema if needed, but I believe it is wrong to let them watch, especially mixed sexes.

It may be fiction or it may not, but what difference does it make. It appeared on this site because it had to do with enemas. I believe it is more truth than fiction, probably because I give my grand kids enemas once in awhile, as I am sure other grammas do the same.
When you get right down to it, I'm sure there are probably more fictious postings on this site than there are true ones. Who really cares? Some of them are outragously fictional contrivances, to stimulate someones imagination, and others may or may not be altogether factual, and yet others may be the truth.

im 20 yrs old now and have read the posts about getting enemas from grandmom. ive had a number of enemas from my grandmom but they r kinda simple compared 2 the details in some of those posts. I couldn't imagine my grandmom giving enemas 2 me and my brother and cousins like they described, although we do c others getting enemas when we r visiting there.
she feels that enemas r good when we r sick but also good 2 help us from getting sick so we usually get them when staying w/her. i know my mom and aunts got frequent enemas when growing up too.
since reading posts here i have realized that there are alot of differences in the ways that enemas are given in families.

thx 4 posting that reply since its hard to figure out what goes on here sometimes. what suprised me in some of the posts that described the enemas people received from their grandmom was they described the situation like the one getting an enema was like a show for others to watch - ouch! thats what was hard to believe.
we did see others getting their enemas but we waited in another bedroom until it was our turn and then we went into the main bedroom and the door ws closed. we mostly just saw what was going on in there when the bedroom door was opened for some reason and i remember we were usually to nervous waiting to even want to look at what was happening!

How were the enemas you got as a kid effecting your grown up enema use and do you give your children the same private enemas you got as a child?

im 21 yrs old now and not married and no children so im not sure how i will be when i have my own family and have to give enemas. i know i will remember the good and bad things from my enemas when younger and try to use that to help them be more comfortable when getting the enemas.

for me now, im ok getting them and cooperate completely during enemas. i think its good to be able to talk to the person giving you the enema so you can both understand how it feels and how to help make it easier going in. i think thats important for anyone who has to give someone an enema. when younger my mom would tell me that we had to be a team and work together to get the enema done so its comfortable for me but also works like its supposed to. that made me feel like i could decide some things or at least talk about how i felt which made me feel better.

Tina it sounds like your family had a very healthy openess about enemas ,and led to you enjoying them still today.
For me as a teenager ,enemas were a taboo, secretive, embarassing procedure, that made me get freaky sexual feelings about the enemas.

I stayed with my grandparents half the time because my parents were divorced and mom worked out of town maybe a week a month. My grandmother would ask if I had a BM almost every day and if I said no, out came the enema equipment. It happened often enough for me to start lying about it. Mom gave me enemas too, but not as many as my grandparents and Moms were much more comfortable.

since i posted my original message in this discussion about enemas for grandkids i have received a number of emails from others who said they either got enemas from their grandmom or saw someone else getting an enema when staying with grandparents. some of them said it happened years ago and others said it was more recent so i guess its something thats pretty common. thanks for ssending all the emails.

Were there more males or females who told you their grandmoms gave them enemas? also, did any of them tell you how old they were or give you any details of how it happened?

No one seems to have replied directly to Pat's original post so I would like to add my comments. Both my son's and my daughter's children have stayed with me for varying periods over the years, and yes, they have had issues with constipation from time to time when here. They will always tell me when they need a little help, and they all know that my remedy is the same as they receive from their parents when at home.

None of them has ever objected to me giving them a good comfortable enema, and they do seem to enjoy the procedure I use when administering their enemas. I see no reason why it should not be enjoyable, because they always tell me they feel much better afterwards.

Pat, did you have to administer any more enemas to your grandkids after your original post, and did them ask you for a repeat treatment?

Peggy

My twin grandsons know when they stay with me (granda) they can expect an enema each weekend they are with me. I raised my son the same way and he knows what I do when they are with me. their mother gives them enemas too. I try to coordinate so they take enemas together. They enjoy that and we have five bathrooms for the dirty part.

Methinks that Perry has some homosexual issues with giving his grandsons enemas all the time. Methinks this issue, started with his son, and needed to be continued with the grandkids.

I agree with To Perry - this seems like more than I want to even think about and hope this never actually happens! Hopefully, this is the end of Perry's fantasy.

First I am a young grandmother, not father, and second, I believe if kids learn enemas help them stay healthy and they're not stigmatized, they will enjoy the experience. The twins do everything together and they have never complained about having their enemas in the same room at the same time.

To Peggy,
Yes I gave my grand kids enemas again, and there was no problem with giving either one of them an enema. My grandaughter did ask me to give her an enema, when I questioned if she had not had a BM for a couple of days. She said she hadn't and was not feeling good.
So into the bathroom we went for another enema session. As I was giving her the enema, my grandson asked me if I would give him an emema too, as he thought he would feel better.

I did question him, asking if he thought he really needed an enema as well. He sat down on the tub and said that he always felt better after an enema. I said OK and told him to get undressed. I finished with my grandaughter, prepared another enema for my grandson and proceeded to put him over my lap for his enema.
Both of them had alot of fecal matter in them and both said they felt better after their enemas. I'm sure there will be another enema session with them.

I give my two grand kids enemas, more than their mom does. They like the way I give them enemas better than their mom.
My grandson is 10 and my grandaughter just turned 9. I am gentle and more concerned about their felling better with a little enema than their mom who usually just points and shoots.
Since I only live a block away,I come over to their house and give them their enemas and they sometimes come over to my house for their enemas. They like me to give them their enemas at my house, because I always give them a little icecream and cookies after the enemas. Sometimes I know they just come to have me give them enemas so they can get some icecream and cookies. I usually give them both enemas one after the other in the bathroom together. I love both of them very much, and they know it because they will give me a hug and ask me if I will give them an enema. I look forward to these times with my grandkids. Its better to give them the love and attention from me, because they get less with their mom. I suppose they will eventually grow out of it, but I look forward to giving them enemas and will continue to do so until they are old enough to give themselves enemas,or until they don't want me to give them enemas any more which I hope will not be until they are in their teens or later.
