Lisa,
I have a Klystra Paris bag which I found almost impossible to dry thoroughly because its shape causes water to be trapped when it is hung with the opening downward.
Here's something that I found, works very well. It's actually not all that bad, if you don't mind a little extra fuss to get the job done well.
My solution to that was to hang the bag with the opening up, no cap screwed in, and insert a thin piece of tubing that's long enough to reach the bottom of the bag. I then use the enema hose to connect the end of the tube sticking out of the top to an old Aquarium air pump. This quietly pumps air through the hose and into the bag at about 5 liters/min, which escapes out the top of the bag and in doing so, it drys both the inside of the bag, and the enema hose totally. The Klystra Paris bag would still be wet after several days of just hanging it with the opening downward, whereas, with this method, it would dry totally in 12 hours or less. This is worst case - other equipment will dry much quicker, especially hoses.
For open top bags, just hang the bag up with the hose still attached, and connect the pump to the other end of the hose.
This method is also an excellent way to dry out the inside of a Higginson pump.
I have set aside an area in my bedroom closet where I can hang the equipment and hook it up to the pump.
You can pick up an Aquarium air pump for $15 - $20 from Amazon.com. A pump for a 30-40 gallon aquarium would provide the flow rate needed.
Sorry if the post is a little long. Maybe some folks would find it interesting.
