Hi Chris - just read again your comment about keeping the topic going if only for the nostalgia. I couldn't agree more on that aspect of it. You and I had an exchange awhile back concerning places we'd made love and places we'd douched. I felt a really warm and pleasant sense of nostalgia in recollecting the time outdoors by the lake with me straddling him - it wasn't actually out in public, in fact the chance of anyone seeing what we were doing was rather slim - but the recollection was a LOT of fun! Since hubby and I share reading these posts by others and by myself, he helped in recalling some of the details of that episode which neither of us had thought about for a long time. We've enjoyed mentioning it on occasion since writing it, and it's still fun to remember.
Another topic hubby and I have enjoyed as a result of discussions in these posts is remembering our early married years using diaphragm and jelly for contraception, along with the douching that followed after appropriate delay. Steka has posted some great comments on this. His favorite recollection is his using the applicator to add more jelly for repeat sex - according to him, my position with legs spread and hips raised slightly was so erotic he could hardly wait to replace the applicator with himself. I know you've said you never used a diaphragm, but I'm sure you've got shared recollections of some of your early days that you never tire of remembering.
Chris, do you and your hubby share the fun of reading these posts together? I've shared the fun with hubby ever since finding these sites, and he seems to enjoy it as much as I do. And I do think that the nostalgia involved is a large part of it.
