Like you I prefer the bag since it works best. Suppositories are convenient for me or the family if we are traveling or on holiday. If I am really uncomfortable I might go to a local drugstore or the hotel shop to see if there is a Fleet but I really don't like the after effects.

I think mom used Fleet since it was easier for her and may have thought it was easier for me. I don't recall having a choice! Suppositories were used until I was maybe 7 y/o and then I was introduced (!) to the enema bag.
